great parks and dining nearby for city strolls
I loved how close I was to Hughes Park and the Hudsonville Grille, making it super easy to grab a bite and enjoy the outdoors after a day of exploring, although the cleanliness of the room could be improved.

Close to our destination of Holland and Saugatuck. Not to mention, this Super 8 is right next to a Harley Davidson dealership!!!
I wish we had been informed, in advance, that the pool and spa area was being renovated!

They had not booked my reservation correctly. I had booked two rooms with two queen size beds in each room. They had only booked one room with one queen size bed for me and my friends. They had over booked the hotel. I made my reserviations in March for a May stay, plenty of time. The pool wasn't working. There was new management three weeks prior to my stay.

Some parts impressed, others didn't
The staff was friendly and efficient! The location was convenient right off the highway for a quick stopover.
Unfortunately, my experience was marred by outdated decor and a lack of basic amenities like breakfast and ice machines.

The first room they gave me had a couch that was in worse shape than you find on the side of the road, including long white dog hair. Plus a sign above the couch ; do not use the couch as a sleeper it does not work; Oh yes the room it also smelled. The second room the curtains had hooks missing. We set a couple of bags and purse by the wall, the next morning they where all wet, the floor was wet along the floor, you could see the peeling crack beside the air conditioner. (We did not use the air conditioner) The pool was closed, but we could use the pool at the next motel (the same people own both) The water in the tub had a smell, not from clorine. ? The people across the room from us the toilet did not flush proper, they where scared it would overflow, since they use 2 rooms they used the adjacent room.

It was value priced
The rooms were very old looking and needed updates. The pool area was in need of repair. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

It was just a smart choice for resting in Hudsonville with best value. The air conditioner worked efficiently, a relief. Avoid the second floor if you have issues with stairs.

The price was good. the location to our destination was good and the staff was friendly and helpful
The hotel is in need of repairs and updates, the curtains were just holding on. We asked for a different room because it was like an ice box and the heat would not work properly. The entrance way they told us to use later in the evening would not accept the key cards.

A room with a view, maybe?
The view from my room was amazing as the sun set over the mountains. Location was perfect for my travel needs.

The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the place was clean overall. However, I found some gross stains on the wall. Not sure I'd stay here again.

Quiet. Easy access.
Pool not open. Main reason for staying there. Clerk not at front desk. Was outside??? Why??? I called then went to office and she came in after several minutes. Security lock broken off door. Safety bar broken off tub.

Spacious and economical
In your website the room listed was supposed to have a king bed. We were informed upon arrival that there are no king beds in this motel. The motel is in need of renovation. I was informed that this would take place. The staff was friendly and helpful. The credit card process wasn't working, but the desk clerk patiently dealt with the issue.
